Job Title: PMO / Agile & Regulatory Portfolio Manager
Mission Overview
As part of the Transformation Office, the Portfolio Management team enables executive leadership to effectively steer the organization’s transformation in alignment with its strategic priorities. The team ensures a continuous, holistic, balanced, and transparent approach to monitoring progress across both strategic and regulatory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Portfolio Management
a. Regulatory Project Reporting
- Establish a comprehensive regulatory reporting framework, starting with manual processes and evolving toward structured implementation.
- Coordinate communication with various departments (tribes, functions) and manage change across stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a community of Regulatory Owners with regular engagements.
- Participate in key regulatory governance bodies to support major cross-functional regulations and address escalated issues.
- Work with Regulatory Watch teams to define project scope and ownership, attending committees and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collect, validate, and challenge input from initiative owners to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Investigate and report on high-risk or problematic regulatory projects, integrating insights from control and expert functions.
- Prepare and consolidate quarterly executive-level reporting (ExBo/ExCo), including detailed updates on critical initiatives.
b. Regulatory Dependency Check Process
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Regulatory Dependency Checklist.
- Implement the regulatory dependency validation process across the organization.
- Initiate annual dependency checks in preparation for strategic planning cycles.
- Liaise with initiative owners to confirm dependency alignment and inform relevant regulatory stakeholders of any identified interdependencies.
2. Business / Functional Portfolio Management
a. Strategic Portfolio Support
- Collaborate with business or functional management teams (ExCo N-1) to define strategic objectives and associated initiatives.
- Facilitate prioritization and prepare recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update roadmaps in line with leadership decisions and strategic reviews.
b. Initiative Oversight
- Monitor initiative alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assess progress, detect interdependencies, and address inconsistencies.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies in coordination with initiative leaders and governance constructs.
c. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work alongside the CIO Office and Finance to align roadmaps and business cases with overall strategic goals.
- Support the preparation and escalation of reporting for executive-level transformation reviews.
d. Tooling Support
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of custom portfolio management tools.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (including macros) is essential.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Master's degree in Law, Management, Economics, or a related field.
Certifications
- Agile and/or project management certifications are preferred.
Languages

Experience & Skills
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in portfolio or program management (PMO), ideally in a financial or regulated environment.
- Proven experience managing large-scale programs.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of PowerPoint for executive reporting.
- Expert-level Excel skills (including macros, advanced formulas).
- Familiarity with portfolio tooling and project tracking systems.
Business Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the financial services or banking sector.
- Experience with regulatory environments and projects is highly desirable.
Soft Skills
- Ability to interact with senior leadership (ExCo N-1 and above).
- Diplomatic, customer-oriented communicator.
- Comfortable with co-creation and collaborative ways of working.
