We're looking for an experienced Mainframe Assembler Programmer to join a high-impact team working on mission-critical systems for a global software leader. If you have deep Assembler skills and enjoy tackling low-level system challenges in a collaborative, distributed environment—this role is for you.

🔧 What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Assembler programs in a Z/OS mainframe environment
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance core system functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues through dump analysis, LE routines, and system debugging tools
• Optimize and modernize legacy applications while ensuring system integrity and performance
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

🧠 What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience with Assembler programming (HLASM) on Z/OS
• Solid understanding of mainframe internals, reentrant/thread-safe coding, and cross-memory services
• Proficiency with JCL, DB2, CICS, and tools like IPCS, z/XDC, Endevor
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup and manage deliverables autonomously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial, security, or infrastructure products
• Previous contributions to modernization or migration projects
• Familiarity with COBOL, PL/I, or integration into hybrid environments
