Salary/Pay Rate: Min. $30/hour - $48/hour.
Schedule: Day/Evening Shift Rotation (D/E/EOW) and rotating holidays, Full-Time Onsite

Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse on the specialized Neuro Step-Down Unit, you will provide expert, step-down level care for patients recovering from a wide range of complex non-traumatic brain and vascular conditions. This niche unit focuses on diagnoses including Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke, Seizure Disorders, Brain Tumors/Cancer, and Neuromuscular Conditions, and also incorporates the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). You will assume primary accountability for the individualized, age-specific nursing coordination of your assigned patients. This includes performing thorough admission and ongoing assessments, developing and evaluating interdisciplinary care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, and accurately administering treatments and medications using the electronic medical record (EPIC) system. Your daily mission is to deliver the highest quality of patient-centered care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every patient and family encounter.
