Compensation: $43 - $47.50/hour with minimal overtime ($85K - $92.5K annually)

What You'll Do:
- Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international patent applications, including provisional, non-provisional, PCT, and national-phase filings.
- Take ownership of the patent docketing process, ensuring all deadlines are accurately tracked and met.
- Work closely with attorneys, foreign counsel, and clients to manage filing requirements, deadlines, and case statuses.
- Draft and review USPTO documents such as Office Action responses and Information Disclosure Statements (IDSs).
- Manage formal papers from inventors and Powers of Attorney.
- Process incoming mail and communications from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to ensure prompt responses.
What We're Looking For:
- A detail-oriented and professional Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a patent prosecution setting (law firm or in-house).
- Experience preparing and filing U.S. and international patent applications.
- Experience managing patent prosecution files and electronic records.
- Experience coordinating with foreign associates for international patent filings.
- Undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with document management systems and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with docketing software for patent-related deadlines.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Phoenix, AZ (three in-office days per week after the initial training period).
- Ability to meet a 1400 billable hour annual requirement.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for urgent matters.
