Hourly Rate & Annual Salary:

About the Facility:
The Aventura-based hospital facility is part of the larger medical complex network and is a nationally recognized leader in patient care. The hospital serves a diverse and vibrant community in southern Florida. Known for its cutting-edge technology, accredited imaging services, and compassionate staff, the facility is dedicated to delivering top-tier diagnostic care.
Job Duties:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for inpatient and outpatient populations, ranging from newborn to geriatric patients
- Prepare and educate patients on procedures, obtain consent, and ensure comfort throughout
- Operate CT scan equipment with precision to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to ensure accurate interpretation and patient care coordination
- Ensure equipment functionality and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Required Licensure/Certifications:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (REQUIRED)
- State Registered Radiologic Technician OR Registered CT Technician
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of start
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year CT Technologist experience in a clinical setting
Preferred Skill:
- Experience in high-volume hospital or trauma center
- Familiarity with GE or Siemens CT equipment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful in diverse patient population
- Cross-trained in other radiologic modalities
- Strong communication and bedside manner
- Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR), especially Meditech
- Flexible to work mixed shifts and rotating weekends
