How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success

As a Produce Sales Manager, you’ll drive sales growth by leveraging your expertise and network to broker premium produce and build lasting client relationships. With 5+ years of proven sales experience in produce brokering, you’ll bring a strong book of business and a passion for closing deals. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to grow with a company experiencing rapid expansion. The position is based in Los Angeles, with remote flexibility for the right candidate.

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of clients and suppliers in wholesale, retail, and foodservice sectors
  • Source and broker produce from internal and external inventories
  • Drive new business through strategic outreach and relationship-building
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize performance and achieve targets
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and industry developments
  • Ensure compliance with basic PACA law requirements and maintain good standing with PACA

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven sales experience in produce brokering
  • An established book of business with buyers and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Applicants must be in good standing with PACA
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
