Our client, a Central Valley owned and operated legal services firm, is in need of an experienced Controller for their Bakersfield office. This is an on-site position with no hybrid flexibility. This role will manage the accounting team and report to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements
- Manager banking and CPA relationships
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasting
- Be a strategic partner for the firm
- Manage 401k program
- Oversee and direct the accounting department
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- 10+ years experience
- Advanced skills in accounting software
- Expert skills in Excel
- Able to interact and get along with various personalities
