Our client, a Central Valley owned and operated legal services firm, is in need of an experienced Controller for their Bakersfield office. This is an on-site position with no hybrid flexibility. This role will manage the accounting team and report to the CFO.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Manager banking and CPA relationships
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasting
  • Be a strategic partner for the firm
  • Manage 401k program
  • Oversee and direct the accounting department


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
  • 10+ years experience
  • Advanced skills in accounting software
  • Expert skills in Excel
  • Able to interact and get along with various personalities
