How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

As the Director of Quality, you’ll serve as the strategic leader for all quality and food safety initiatives across multiple poultry production sites in two states. You will drive the vision for product integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement—ensuring operational excellence from live bird transport through final product delivery. Reporting directly to the President, your leadership will shape company-wide quality strategy, regulatory alignment, and team performance.


Quality and Compliance Leadership

  • Direct the development, implementation, and scaling of enterprise-wide QA programs that meet USDA, FDA, HACCP, and internal standards
  • Ensure live production quality and bird welfare are upheld through robust systems and audits
  • Serve as the executive authority on regulatory compliance, food safety, animal welfare, and third-party inspections
  • Oversee the resolution of escalated customer complaints, audit findings, and food safety concerns
  • Standardize and enforce SOPs, SSOPs, HACCP plans, GMPs, and corporate quality policies across all sites


Operational Oversight and Improvement

  • Align quality systems with production, supply chain, and maintenance operations to elevate consistency and compliance
  • Leverage data and trend analysis to drive decision-making, CAPAs, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop site-level QA managers and teams with a strong culture of accountability and ownership
  • Partner with executive leadership to integrate quality goals into business planning, R&D, and operational strategy


What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Master’s or advanced degree preferred.


Experience:

10+ years of progressive QA leadership experience in food or poultry manufacturing, including multi-site oversight and direct team management.


Leadership:

Strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior leadership, drive cultural transformation, and lead complex change across multiple facilities.
