How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

As a Complex Manager Trainee within the Operations Department, you’ll shadow and train under Complex Managers to gain expertise in managing layer production, egg processing, and regulatory compliance, preparing to fill in as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma (college-level training in agriculture, management, or related fields preferred), previous management or agricultural experience (desired), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Operational Training: Shadow Complex Managers in layer production, shell egg processing, and/or liquid egg breaking, addressing areas needing further development.

• Regulatory Compliance: Learn SQF, USDA/FDA, OSHA, and environmental regulations, ensuring adherence to GMPs, lockout/tag out, and Hazcom procedures.

• Personnel and Resource Management: Develop skills in hiring, evaluations, employee grievances, budget reporting, and addressing operational issues in egg graders, houses, coolers, feed mills, and breaker plants.

• Project and Software Proficiency: Undertake projects assigned by the Complex Manager or Vice President, mastering poultry and inventory tracking software systems.
