How You'll Contribute to Our Partner's Success

As an FSQA Manager with 3+ years of experience in fresh produce or perishable grocery categories, you will play a critical role in ensuring food safety and quality across a complex, fast-moving supply chain. In this remote role with regular travel (up to 75%), you’ll conduct audits, manage compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for food safety at grower, packer, and supplier sites. Your deep understanding of produce specifications, regulatory requirements, and proactive communication will help safeguard product integrity and support customer satisfaction from field to shelf.

You’ll oversee quality standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong partnerships with growers, suppliers, and 3PL partners.

  • Conduct routine audits and site visits to grower fields, packinghouses, and distribution points to ensure adherence to USDA, FDA, GFSI, GAP, and customer-specific requirements
  • Verify produce quality meets customer specs for size, ripeness, appearance, shelf life, and packaging
  • Manage CAPAs, FSQA documentation, and support traceability and food safety programs across multiple sites
  • Act as the client-facing expert on FSQA matters, representing the company during supplier audits, customer visits, and food safety discussions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to address quality issues, resolve non-conformances, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
