About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive team, overseeing all financial functions of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, improving financial systems, and leading a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, a deep understanding of project-based accounting, and a passion for streamlining processes and implementing best practices.


  • Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, reporting, and cash flow management
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support long-term planning and decision-making
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Manage project costing, job profitability analysis, and WIP reporting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax filings, and internal controls
  • Partner with operations leadership to align financial strategies with business goals
  • Lead system and process improvements within the accounting department
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and insurance providers
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to drive profitability and operational efficiency
