Associate Attorney

Practice Area: Wealth Planning

Location: Miami/Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach (hybrid/onsite)

Salary: $150,000 to $250,000 (commensurate with experience and expertise)

DESCRIPTION:

A preeminent law firm seeks to recruit a mid-level associate to its Private Wealth Services Practice within its South Florida offices. The appointed associate shall focus their practice on a range of business succession, estate planning, taxation, and business transaction matters. The practice encompasses succession and tax planning for individuals and businesses, inclusive of corporate, LLC, partnership, and estate planning for closely held and family-owned enterprises. The firm’s Private Wealth Services Group and its South Florida offices cultivate a collegial professional environment and provide attorneys with substantial opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

THIS ROLE ENTAILS:

• Rendering sophisticated estate planning advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Formulating and executing intricate tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Advising clientele on business succession planning and wealth transfer.
• Preparing a comprehensive array of legal documents, encompassing wills, trusts, and business agreements.
• Collaborating with legal professionals and other relevant experts to deliver comprehensive legal services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• LL.M. in Taxation and a Juris Doctorate in Law is requisite 
• Florida Bar licensure in Good Standing
• Exceptional academic credentials and background.
• Superior document drafting skills are essential.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience in private wealth services or related
• Robust research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to articulate complex legal concepts with clarity.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
