Compensation: $310,000 to $390,000 annually
Position Overview: Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking a talented mid-level associate to join its cutting-edge Technology Transactions & Privacy practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience handling complex technology-focused transactions and advising on critical intellectual property and privacy matters.
Responsibilities: The role involves a sophisticated and diverse practice, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of technology and licensing agreements. The associate will advise on IP issues in the context of M&A and financing transactions, support deals involving emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, and counsel startups on product development and launch strategies.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience at an AmLaw 50 firm is required.
- Subject matter expertise in areas such as enterprise software, cloud services, FinTech, e-commerce, AI, or digital content is highly desirable.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
