We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at a leading lumber company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling lumber products to customers, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in the lumber industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential customers to promote and sell lumber products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate lumber products to meet their requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies, set sales targets, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sale with customers to maximize profitability and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and report on sales activities to management regularly.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate leads.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lumber industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lumber products, grades, sizes, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed.
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
