Our client is an established independent pediatric practice with a 20 year legacy, where compassionate care is the cornerstone of all they do. They're seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join their team of seven providers in the beautiful suburb of NYC - New Providence, NJ. You'll play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to their young patients, ensuring their well-being and ability to thrive. Work independently with the support of our dynamic, hardworking Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and office staff, who all believe in delivering the highest-quality care.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Provide expert care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a range of medical conditions with care and attention.

Wellness Promotion: Educate parents on child development, nutrition, and preventive care, promoting healthy lifestyles for our young patients.

Physical Examinations: Conduct thorough examinations to monitor growth and development, ensuring comprehensive care.

Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose medical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans for each patient.

In Office State Certified CLIA laboratory: Our in-office lab improves efficiency, control, and the overall quality of care, leading to better patient outcomes.

Patient Counseling: Offer support and guidance to families, providing medical expertise and emotional support.

Hospital Rounding: Rounding at Overlook Medical Center, Morristown Memorial, and RWJB hospital newborn nurseries to provide care and support to new families.

Collaboration: Work closely with other specialists and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.

Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric medicine to provide the best possible care.

Compliance: Adhere to medical ethics and regulations, prioritizing patient confidentiality.
Schedule:
- 4 day work week, 9am-6pm (36 hours)
- One weekend per month - includes hospital rounding for newborns
- Shared on-call responsibilities, phone only
Qualifications:
To qualify, the successful candidate must be Board-eligible or Board-certified, possess State of New Jersey medical licensure, and be willing to relocate to NJ before hiring if necessary.
