Supervising Pharmacist

Lead operations at a new, high-volume mail-order pharmacy, supervising techs, managing prescriptions, and shaping workflows from the ground up. This role includes specialty and long-term care medications and offers the chance to help grow the pharmacy into a major operation.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance
• Train, mentor, and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain operational efficiency
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely fulfillment
• Monitor inventory levels, order management, and medication storage protocols
• Implement and refine operational procedures and workflow systems
• Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with multiple state licenses (10–11 states preferred)
• 5–7 years of pharmacy experience, ideally in mail-order or long-term care pharmacy
• Strong leadership and operational management skills
