$180,000–$270,000 base + discretionary bonus (commensurate with experience)

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate (4+ years) who can independently run core workstreams while collaborating closely with partners and clients. Candidates with commercial litigation and/or bankruptcy experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead motion practice (MTD/SJ); draft persuasive briefs, pleadings, and complex memoranda
• Own discovery strategy (ESI protocols, privilege reviews, productions) across matters
• Take and defend depositions; prepare fact and expert witnesses
• Handle court appearances, conferences, and oral arguments (state & federal)
• Coordinate with experts; support trial teams (exhibit lists, witness outlines, evidentiary motions)
• Partner with clients on strategy, budgets, and timelines; supervise junior attorneys and staff

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of civil/commercial litigation experience (bankruptcy experience a plus)
• Exceptional writing, research, and advocacy skills with demonstrated motion practice
• Experience leading eDiscovery processes (Relativity or similar)
• New York Bar admission required (federal admission a plus)
• Organized, detail-driven, and client-focused; comfortable owning key phases of a case
