Director of Marketing
📍 Preferred In-Office | Remote Considered | 💰 $150,000 – $180,000
A fast-growing accounting software company is looking for a Director of Marketing who's equal parts creative visionary and strategic operator. This isn't a "maintain the status quo" role — we want someone who's going to reimagine how we show up in the market, own the brand end-to-end, and drive real pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Define and lead the overall marketing strategy — brand, demand gen, content, and product marketing
- Build and execute campaigns that drive awareness and qualified leads across multiple channels
- Own the brand voice and make sure it shows up consistently and compellingly everywhere
- Collaborate closely with Sales to align messaging and support the full funnel
- Analyze marketing performance and continuously optimize based on data
- Manage and grow a marketing team (and budget) with a builder's mindset
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 in a leadership role
- Proven ability to build and execute multi-channel marketing strategies from scratch
- Strong creative instincts — you push past the obvious and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Experience marketing a SaaS or tech product to SMBs or finance/operations audiences
- Data-driven approach — you know your numbers and let them guide decisions
Nice to Have:
- Experience marketing accounting, bookkeeping, or fintech software
- Background in e-commerce or marketplace verticals
- Prior experience at a startup or high-growth company
