Our client is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Wealth Management Associate to support our advisory team. This role is integral to delivering exceptional service to clients, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting Wealth Advisors with day-to-day client management, financial planning tasks, and administrative responsibilities. We are a dynamic, client-focused boutique law firm in Monsey that also offers comprehensive financial services. We are seeking to hire an administrative assistant to join our team to assist in client service and business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the retention of existing clients, including ongoing client service,
administrative and operational functions for financial services clients
- Support business development efforts
- Onboard and maintain client accounts which includes completing client, custodian, and
firm paperwork
- Execute client and firm tasks, such as asset transfers, preparation of reports, and
general support of portfolio and investment strategies
- Ability to offer solutions, with custodian and advisor team, to client needs such as
standing instructions, complex registrations, death, beneficiaries, etc.
- Maintain contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information
- Respond to administrative client queries
- Build strong internal working relationships to ensure a cohesive client experience
- Maintain CRM through updated contacts, documenting emails and other items as
requested
- Work closely with the Wealth Advisor in operational projects focusing on automation,
efficiency, scalability of services, and risk controls.
- Schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and ensure follow-up action items
are completed.
- Assist in gathering and organizing client financial data, statements, and documents.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior financial experience needed.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and financial planning
software a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to foster teamwork and motivate colleagues
