Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriter to join their team in Monroe, NY. The ideal candidate will evaluate and price commercial risks, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to the agency's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Assess complex commercial risks across various industries
• Determine appropriate coverage and pricing for commercial policies
• Analyze financial statements and loss histories
• Negotiate terms with carriers and clients
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients
• Collaborate with sales team to attract new business
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Superior communication and negotiation abilities
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Finance, or related field)
• Relevant insurance licenses and certifications
