Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Operations Manager to oversee the daily administrative functions of our fast-paced commercial construction office. This individual will play a pivotal role in streamlining workflows, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams from the back office.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, supply ordering, and vendor coordination
  • Develop and implement administrative systems to support construction project needs
  • Liaise with project managers to ensure timely document management and reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and basic bookkeeping
  • Assist HR with onboarding, timesheet tracking, and compliance paperwork
  • Coordinate internal communications and support executive reporting
  • Maintain digital and physical records related to permits, contracts, and project timelines
  • Monitor office budget and recommend cost-efficiency measures
  • Manage office support staff and foster a collaborative environment


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, ideally in commercial construction or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, billing cycles, and project workflows
  • Proficiency in office software and construction management tools (e.g. Procore, MS Project)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in deadline-driven environments
