A leading Property & Casualty Insurance company is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Customer Service Representative/Underwriter. This exciting hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while leveraging your underwriting expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders and potential clients through various channels (phone, email, in-person).
• Efficiently handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on policy coverage, claims, and billing.
• Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations with accuracy and speed.
• Evaluate new and renewal insurance applications, assessing risk and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.
• Analyze loss history, property information, and other relevant factors to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Adhere to company underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with producers and underwriters to ensure seamless policy issuance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, policy information, and underwriting decisions.
• Prepare reports and documentation as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work in our Brooklyn, NY or KJ.
