$100,000 - $200,000+ (Depending on experience)


Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Claims and Compliance Team Leader to guide a team of competent professionals responsible for client onboarding, client communication, analyzing compliance data, guiding clients through the compliance process, compliance reviews, and claims processing. This leadership role requires a mix of hands-on execution, team management, process development, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to continuous learning and operational excellence.


Responsibilities:


Team Leadership

  • Lead, support, and mentor a team of compliance and claims professionals
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
  • Uphold the company's values of forward-thinking and client-centric service

Compliance Oversight

  • Oversee setup of new clients in compliance software systems
  • Review insurance certificates and policies to verify alignment with client requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate client communications and reporting
  • Support the team in delivering insightful compliance reviews and reports

Claims Management

  • Design, implement, and improve claims processing protocols
  • Ensure claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company standards
  • Act as a point of contact for complex claims issues and escalate as needed
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent service and timely resolution

Client Relations

  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and timely support
  • Lead client review meetings, addressing compliance and claims-related topics
  • Represent the company with integrity and expertise

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance team efficiency
  • Stay current on industry standards, insurance regulations, and compliance best practices
  • Promote ongoing learning and knowledge-sharing within the team

Qualifications:


  • Experience in P&C insurance, claims, and/or compliance roles
  • Prior experience in a team leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance (certificates, policies, claims)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with compliance software and managing workflows
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
