PT (20hrs): $55-$65/hr

FT (40hrs): $85,000-$110,000


Our client is a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to helping patients manage and reduce chronic pain through integrative, evidence-based care. They work closely with physicians, specialists, and other therapists to improve quality of life for their patients.


Position Summary:

They are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Occupational Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience helping individuals with chronic pain improve function in daily activities, return to work, and enhance overall independence. This role involves creating customized intervention plans, providing education, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs as they relate to chronic pain and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks and life roles.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques including activity modification, energy conservation, pain management strategies, adaptive equipment training, and ergonomics.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on coping strategies, self-management, and functional goal setting.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in occupational therapy and pain rehabilitation.


Schedule:

This can be a part time or full time role, either temp or temp to hire. For full time, the options are four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts, with a few evenings required.



Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in [State].
  • Experience working with patients experiencing chronic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, or neurological conditions is preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
  • Passion for holistic, function-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
