Our client is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join their team at a leading hardware supply distribution company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting both customers and the outside sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional service. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Bloomfield, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing information about products and services.
- Process sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Work closely with the outside sales team to support client needs and close deals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings and inventory levels to assist customers effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders or issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance to management.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the hardware or distribution industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
