Our client is a well-known appliance distributor providing luxury brands to both B2B and B2C markets. We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join their team, based out of their Richmond office.
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for executing strategies to increase brand awareness and elevate our digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing high-quality content across various social media platforms, leading organic and paid media campaigns, and delivering impactful graphic design work for signage, ads, and brand assets. Working in collaboration with our web team, the specialist will ensure all online content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with our annual marketing strategies.
The budget for the position is $60-70k. Compensation will consist of a salary and bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Execute digital marketing strategies designed to drive website traffic, increase user engagement, and enhance overall brand visibility.
- Plan and manage content calendars for social media channels, ensuring alignment with seasonal campaigns and events.
- Coordinate with the website support team to implement timely and accurate content updates, and support the planning and execution of digital campaigns.
- Design and produce digital and print materials, including ads, signage, showroom POP, marketing pamphlets, and other creative assets.
- Create and publish engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, and partnership activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage paid media campaigns, including setup, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage with customers, clients, and the design/build community.
- Maintain an organized content library and creatively repurpose photo and video assets to support marketing efforts.
- Monitor and manage activity across social media and Google Business accounts, responding to comments, reviews, and inquiries.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure website catalogue and promotional content remain current, accurate, and aligned with active marketing initiatives.
- Manage business listings and content updates across partner and supplier websites, Google listings, and relevant directories.
- Support internal team communication by preparing updates on marketing activities, partnerships, events, and sales initiatives.
- Assist with budget planning by organizing and tracking invoices, data reports, and campaign documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital and content marketing.
- Experience in the appliance, culinary, construction, or building products industries is an asset.
- Proficient in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, SEO/SEM, and email marketing best practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
- Comfortable leading multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with photography and video editing is an asset.
