Our client is seeking an HR Team Lead to be responsible for overseeing the HR onboarding team and serving as the primary HR point of contact for field staff once hired. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle escalations with provider partners. The HR Team Lead ensures compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations while also providing administrative support, payroll processing, and tax documentation assistance.



Responsibilities:


·         Team Oversight and HR Support:

  • Oversee and lead the HR onboarding team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Assist team members with HR-related questions and provide necessary support.
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues with provider partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all HR processes comply with company policies, as well as state and federal labor laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.

·         Administrative Support:

  • Support payroll-related processes, tax documentation, and other administrative HR functions.
  • Provide support for employees regarding W-4 and W-9 forms, including completion and updates.
  • Handle requests for termination letters and employment verification promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

·         Payroll:

  • Accurately oversee DSS payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues, such as pay discrepancies, missing pay, and incorrect banking details. (Coordinating with Payroll Specialist)
  • Manage changes related to employee bank accounts and payroll adjustments.

 

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in HR or a related role, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee onboarding, payroll processes, tax documentation, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
