Salary: $31–$41/hr

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality, efficient, and timely repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial laser machines.
• Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.
• Train and instruct customers on service, repair, and proper operation of laser systems.
• Troubleshoot issues using software and electrical tools to repair laser systems and provide permanent solutions.
• Utilize mechanical measurement and calibration tools for laser system alignments and validation.
• Process optical alignments for power, beam quality, and optical-to-mechanical alignment.
• Complete all required tasks in service software and timecard systems daily.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the continental United States (50–75% travel).

Education Requirements

• Formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial or automated machinery (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing A/C and D/C electrical systems.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license (vehicle insurability required).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for client interactions.
• Ability to document evaluations, status updates, and action plans thoroughly.
