Salary: $55K-$60K

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Support prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic simulations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers on design updates and improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support root-cause investigations.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering discipline).
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance standards.
• Ability to work hands-on with tools, prototypes, and test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience is a plus but not required.
