HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations!
Salary: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour (BOE) + Quarterly Bonuses
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Location: Mexico, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician provides technical support for all machining and assembly operations. This position works as part of the Operations team to achieve departmental and company goals while demonstrating Spartan’s core operating values through daily work activities, actions, and behaviors.
Equipment Support and Repair:
• Perform maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems used in production.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs, CNCs, and electronic components.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to 480V electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Technical and Mechanical Skills:
• Utilize basic machining (milling, grinding, lathe) and welding skills as needed for equipment repair.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine control diagrams.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Support cross-functional problem-solving initiatives to resolve technical challenges.
• Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Facilitate or participate in meetings to identify maintenance issues and develop solutions.
System and Process Improvement:
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to recommend equipment or process improvements.
• Use Manufacturing ERP systems to track maintenance activities, work orders, and part usage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong technical, mechanical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proven experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs and CNC equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Basic machining and welding skills required
• Experience using or willingness to learn Manufacturing ERP systems
• Effective communication and documentation skills
Education and Experience Requirements
Required:
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Degree or certificate in a related technical field
Preferred:
• Experience in die casting or related manufacturing environments
