Salary: $21 - $30/hr

Shift: (Mon - Fri) 9pm - 5am

Location: Beaver Dam, WI

Job Summary:

HiFyve is seeking a skilled Welder to perform high-precision manual GTAW welding on metal castings used in demanding industries. This role focuses on restoring castings to tight tolerances and producing welds that meet strict customer, industry, and Nadcap standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and perform manual GTAW welding to repair castings per customer, industry, and internal specifications.
• Complete upgrade operations such as preheat, clamping, grinding, blending, and visual weld inspection.
• Work from Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), drawings, and sketches while using measurement tools to verify tolerances and temperatures.
• Produce NDT-quality welds using .045–.093” diameter weld rod and maintain correct rod usage for each alloy.
• Support development of new repair techniques as experience allows.
• Perform TPM activities, equipment adjustments, and ensure calibration requirements are up to date.
• Maintain documentation and processes to meet Nadcap requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 2–4 years of welding experience.
• Ability to pass a 1G V-Groove weld qualification on 300 Series Stainless Steel (includes visual, PT, RT, bend, and tensile testing).
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications required by standards such as ASME Sec. IX, MIL-STD-1595A, S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 & 278, AMS 2694A, or equivalent.
• Must maintain acceptable vision per required weld specifications.
• Must complete and retain company-required welder workmanship training/certification.
• Ability to read, retain, and follow weld program work instructions.
