HiFyve is hiring a Team Leader in the injection molding industry!

Salary: $31-35/hr

Shift: 3rd shift 10:30 pm - 7 am 

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize shift startup and conduct complete shift turnovers with other teams.
• Supervise molding personnel in the performance of their duties.
• Monitor production software for productivity, cycle times, and correct part counts.
• Inspect and verify proper machine set-ups before startup.
• Communicate issues or concerns with the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Department.
• Troubleshoot problem molds and machines.
• Inspect molding presses and verify Bills of Materials.
• Visually inspect parts, perform dimensional checks, and ensure packaging/labeling is correct.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality issues.
• Address personnel issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Perform as Shift Supervisor when required.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written in English).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage workflow.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Computer literacy and experience with production monitoring software preferred.
• Forklift certification/experience required.
