Salary: $110K–$140K+

Shift: Day Shift with 24/7 responsibility (support from off-shift leaders)

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead reliability efforts at a high-speed dairy manufacturing facility. This role oversees a skilled team and ensures the performance of UHT, aseptic, ultra-pasteurized, and ESL systems in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance of processing and packaging systems, including UHT, aseptic, ultra-pasteurized, and ESL equipment
  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues on high-speed equipment
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with food safety standards (FDA, USDA, SQF, etc.)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Manage parts inventory, vendor support, and maintenance documentation in CMMS
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare for internal and external audits



Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Certifications in refrigeration, electrical, or related maintenance fields


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in food or dairy manufacturing
  • Direct, hands-on experience with UHT, aseptic, ultra-pasteurized, and ESL systems (required)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and utility systems (boilers, ammonia, CIP, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and improve maintenance reliability
  • Proficiency with CMMS and continuous improvement tools (Lean, TPM, etc.)
  • Union experience is a plus
