Pay: $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Location: Earth City, MO


About the Job:

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses heavily on supporting production operations through effective maintenance of PLC-driven systems, 3-phase motors, VFDs, and other electrical infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical background, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently to minimize downtime.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues involving 3-phase motors, PLCs, and VFDs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections on manufacturing equipment and building systems
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, and machinery controls
  • Diagnose and resolve system faults using meters, schematics, and PLC logic
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA, and company safety standards
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and calibrations
  • Document repairs and inspections accurately and clearly
  • Support overall maintenance team as needed, including light mechanical work


Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary technical training or certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, arc flash, lockout/tagout)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred), VFDs, and industrial power systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Comfortable using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and hand/power tools
  • Experience in steel, packaging, plastics, or automotive manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to preventive maintenance practices
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended period
