HiFyve is hiring for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Canton, OH

Pay: $37/hr

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the continuous operation of machinery and mechanical systems by performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production, packaging, processing, and utility equipment.
• Technical Analysis: Interpret and analyze technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to effectively carry out necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Tool Utilization: Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Physical Labor: Perform a wide range of manual tasks in various temperature environments, which may involve lifting, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow standard work procedures and adhere to all job safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Additional Duties: Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned to support overall maintenance objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three or more years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, including 480VAC, 240VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong adherence to industry-specific safety standards and practices.
