Our client, a well-regarded Texas based law firm, is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their team.
Position Overview
- Support and oversee the firm's Conflict and Client Intake process using Intapp Conflicts and Intake modules.
- Ensure integrity of new business intake and compliance with ethical standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
- Analyze conflict search results and identify potential ethical/business conflicts.
- Collaborate with attorneys, Conflicts Counsel, and the Conflicts Committee to resolve issues.
- Maintain and enhance conflict rules, search strategies, and synonym lists.
- Prepare detailed conflict reports with summaries and resolution recommendations.
- Assist with Intapp configuration and administration (user permissions, workflows, notifications).
- Support training for attorneys and staff on conflicts procedures and system use.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance, and optimization efforts.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors (e.g., Intapp consultants) for troubleshooting and improvements.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a law firm conflicts department (preferably using Intapp).
- Knowledge of legal ethics and professional responsibility standards.
- Strong analytical, research, and corporate affiliation research skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Aderant or similar financial systems is a plus.
