Landscape Architect -Winston-Salem, NC



We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join a growing team in Winston-Salem, NC. In this role, you'll be responsible for the planning, design, and production of site plans and construction documents for a wide variety of projects, including commercial developments, parks, urban spaces, healthcare facilities, senior living communities, higher education campuses, and residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside architects, engineers, and other design professionals.


Responsibilities


  • Develop landscape architecture designs from concept through construction documentation.
  • Prepare site plans, grading plans, planting plans, and construction details.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents for a variety of project types.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and other project team members.
  • Analyze and apply municipal, county, and state zoning and design regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining quality standards.
  • Contribute creative design solutions that meet client goals and project requirements.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Strong graphic presentation skills using both hand sketching and digital design tools.
  • Experience producing site and amenity construction documents.
  • Knowledge of site grading and drainage design.
  • Experience detailing landscape and amenity features.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of municipal, county, and state zoning and design codes.
