THE JOB
This hybrid Sales & Marketing Coordinator role combines creative digital marketing with proactive inside sales. You’ll handle inbound leads from the company’s website and digital campaigns, qualify them for further opportunities, and actively prospect within targeted industries. On the marketing side, you’ll manage social media posting (LinkedIn, Facebook), design content in Canva, assist with monthly email campaigns, and contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads (“web hits”), identifying additional contacts, departments, and needs.
- Build and execute call campaigns using customer lists, past quotes/orders, referrals, LinkedIn, and trade association contacts.
- Create, schedule, and track social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Support email campaigns, digital marketing activities, and performance reporting.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and update CRM records for all sales activity.
- Collaborate with branch offices to ensure orders and opportunities are managed smoothly.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Experience in marketing, inside sales, or a related hybrid role.
- Proficiency with Canva (or similar design tools), plus Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured pipeline management.
- Ability to balance creative marketing projects with sales follow-up and prospecting.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, environmental science/engineering, or related field).
- Knowledge of environmental, engineering, or technical products.
- Cold calling or high-volume outreach experience.
- Technical aptitude with interest in quickly learning scientific products.
THE BENEFITS
- Base salary of $45,000–$50,000 plus ~$10,000 annual profit share (target total compensation: $50,000–$65,000).
