THE JOB
This hybrid Sales & Marketing Coordinator role blends creative digital marketing with proactive inside sales. You’ll handle inbound leads generated from the company’s website and digital campaigns, qualify them for opportunities, and actively prospect within target industries. On the marketing side, you’ll manage social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), create visual content using Canva, assist with monthly email campaigns, and contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads (“web hits”), identifying additional contacts, departments, and needs.
- Plan and execute call campaigns using customer lists, previous quotes/orders, referrals, LinkedIn, and trade association networks.
- Create, schedule, and monitor content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Support email marketing efforts, digital campaigns, and performance tracking.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities.
- Collaborate with branch offices to ensure smooth coordination of orders and opportunities.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Experience in marketing, inside sales, or a similar hybrid role.
- Proficiency with Canva (or comparable design tools) and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured pipeline management.
- Ability to balance creative marketing work with outbound sales activities.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-driven attitude.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, environmental science/engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of environmental, engineering, or other technical products.
- Experience with cold calling or high-volume outreach.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn about scientific products.
THE BENEFITS
- Base salary of $45,000–$50,000, plus approximately $10,000 in annual profit share (target total compensation: $50,000–$65,000).
