THE JOB

As the first dedicated Product Marketing hire, you'll shape how the market understands and adopts a category-defining data product. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO and working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Data leadership. You’ll take ownership of messaging, positioning, content strategy, and competitive intelligence, enabling the team to scale its voice, refine its pitch, and win more often.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own positioning and messaging for a portfolio of data products and analytics offerings.
  • Create sales enablement content—one-pagers, explainer decks, customer stories, and product briefs.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and market—translating needs into messaging that resonates.
  • Lead competitive analysis and differentiation strategy.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to sharpen go-to-market strategies.
  • Support outbound campaigns with content and narrative fuel.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10+ years of experience in product marketing, in data, fintech, or SaaS environments.
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller—able to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Background in fast-moving, startup or growth-stage organizations preferred.
  • Highly cross-functional and comfortable working directly with executives.
  • Experience building product marketing from the ground up a major plus.
  • Knowledge of target buyer groups such as hedge funds, financial analysts, or federal agencies is valuable.


THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 depending on experience.
  • Equity: Available and negotiable based on seniority.
