THE JOB

As the Regional Account Manager for California, you will oversee all business development and account management activities throughout the state. This is a hybrid sales role, balancing the growth of new business with the management and expansion of existing accounts. You will work closely with environmental engineering and consulting firms, developing long-term relationships and becoming their go-to resource for rental equipment and support. Key responsibilities include conducting 20–30 face-to-face meetings per month, maintaining a dynamic sales pipeline in the company’s CRM system, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. Travel will be approximately 35-40% overnight within the territory to meet client needs and build relationships.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of sales experience within the environmental services industry or adjacent markets (e.g., environmental consulting, lab services, equipment sales).
  • Deep understanding of environmental equipment rental needs, or strong relationships with environmental consulting/engineering professionals.
  • Proven success managing a large territory and balancing new business development with account management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel 35-40% overnight within California.
  • Membership in or familiarity with industry organizations such as PIMA, SDEP, or AIHA is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
