THE JOB

This is an opportunity to own and lead a high-potential territory as a Transit Market Manager. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing key local relationships, and delivering results with full autonomy.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-moving, self-directed environment. You’ll partner closely with regional leadership, have access to creative tools and support, and work remotely while actively engaging in the local community.


What you’ll do:

  • Own and grow a dedicated transit media territory in Long Beach
  • Prospect and close new business across categories including legal, education, automotive, healthcare, tourism, and more
  • Strategically tap into regional and LA County-based buyers to expand local revenue
  • Manage campaigns and upsell opportunities directly with clients
  • Be a trusted ambassador to transit partners and civic stakeholders
  • Hit sales targets (goal: $1M+ revenue annually), with strong monthly and annual incentives
  • Collaborate with your regional manager and a supportive national team of peers


THE QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for a hunter and builder—someone who takes ownership and thrives with little hand-holding.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in media or marketing-related sales
  • 10+ years total sales experience preferred
  • Track record of prospecting, closing, and managing direct local clients
  • Deep familiarity with the Southern California market, ideally with existing contacts
  • Comfort selling campaigns in the $25K–$50K range with 4–6 week cycles
  • Strong local presence and community orientation—must live in or near Long Beach
