THE JOB

The Director of Sales – USA Northwest will oversee sales operations across the Portland, OR, and Auburn (Seattle metro, WA) branches. Reporting directly to the Vice President in Canada, this leader will manage a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, and Customer Service professionals.

This role focuses on revitalizing an underperforming region, driving profitability, and cultivating a high-performance sales culture. With full P&L responsibility, the Director will emphasize accountability, integrate CRM-driven processes, and ensure consistent new business growth.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of sales or operations leadership experience, ideally within distribution
  • Background in packaging, plastics, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Proven success in P&L management and regional sales expansion
  • Experience leading multi-branch or multi-team organizations (approximately 15–20 staff)
  • Skilled in driving CRM adoption and enforcing sales discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop Account Executives, Managers, and Coordinators
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Positive, influential leadership style capable of overcoming resistance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Canadian headquarters leadership


THE BENEFITS

  • OTE: $134,000–$160,000
  • Base Salary: $120,000
  • Car Allowance: $10,000 annually
  • Vacation: 3 weeks
