THE JOB

The Director of Sales – USA Northwest will oversee sales operations across the Portland, OR, and Auburn (Seattle metro, WA) branches. Reporting directly to the Vice President in Canada, this leader will manage a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, and Customer Service professionals.

This role involves revitalizing an underperforming region, driving profitability, and building a high-performance sales culture. With full P&L responsibility, the DOS will focus on elevating accountability, embedding CRM-driven processes, and ensuring sustained new business growth.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of sales/operations leadership, ideally in distribution.
  • Experience in packaging, plastics, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success with P&L management and regional sales growth.
  • Background in leading multi-branch or multi-team organizations (~15–20 staff).
  • Skilled at driving CRM adoption and enforcing sales accountability.
  • Proven ability to coach and inspire Account Executives, Managers, and Coordinators.
  • Strong financial expertise (budgeting, forecasting, cost control).
  • Positive, influential leadership style with the ability to overcome resistance.
  • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with Canadian HQ leadership.


THE BENEFITS

  • OTE: $134,000–$160,000
  • Base Salary: $120,000
  • Car Allowance: $10,000 annually
  • Vacation: 3 weeks
