HiFyve is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in the manufacturing industry in Riverside, MO!

Salary: $27 - $36 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Full-time

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect large weldments and machined parts (40,000 lbs.+) for quality assurance.
• Use handheld measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
• Conduct inspections using laser trackers.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and be certifiable to Level 2 in at least two methods (VT, PT, MT, UT) per SNT-TC-1A.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and quality control reports.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and QC teams to address quality issues.
• Promote and enforce quality standards while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Lead teams in quality improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional technical or vocational training in welding inspection or quality control is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have previous weld inspecting experience.
• CWI certification is a plus or must meet qualifications to be certified.
• Strong understanding of welding processes and inspection techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate quality improvements effectively.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in an industrial environment requiring PPE.
