HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician I in the Industrial Laundry industry in Chelmsford, MA!

Salary: $28 - $40/hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st or 2nd shift (candidate's choice)

Location: Chelmsford, MA, 01824

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Respond to and resolve safety concerns to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and order in the facility.
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Required:
• 2+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
• Ability to read and comprehend maintenance literature written in English.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• Preferred:
• Knowledge of boiler systems.
• HVAC experience.
• Welding experience, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
