HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in the dairy manufacturing industry in Bridgeton, NJ!


Salary: $80K–$105K

Location: Bridgeton, NJ (Onsite)

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 6 PM - 3 AM. (average 40-45 hrs. per week)


Job Summary:

We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at a large-scale dairy production facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily repair, troubleshooting, equipment installations, and preventive maintenance efforts to ensure optimal plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset focused on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and prioritize daily maintenance tasks and work orders
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians on procedures, safety, and equipment use
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and utility system issues
  • Support preventative, unplanned, and emergency maintenance activities
  • Oversee documentation of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance records
  • Partner with operations teams to identify root causes and reduce downtime
  • Participate in new equipment installation and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process and equipment improvements
  • Stay current on new tools, technologies, and maintenance best practices
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned


Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or trade school training in maintenance-related fields preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Skilled in the safe use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery
  • Understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance procedures


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Plant-based role with regular exposure to industrial equipment and environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use tools for extended periods
  • May involve lifting and performing hands-on repairs
  • Minimal to no travel required
