HiFyve is hiring a Vice President of Foodservice & Food Manufacturing Sales in the Food & Beverage industry!


Locations: Based in Kansas City, St. Louis Park, or Chicago

Salary: $225K–$250K base + 40% bonus

Schedule: Standard business hours + on-call availability; 50%–75% travel required

This newly created executive role is responsible for building and executing a national growth strategy across the foodservice and food manufacturing sales channels. The position will lead a high-impact sales team and work cross-functionally to drive profitability, expand market share, and deepen customer relationships. This leader will oversee a team of four, including two direct reports in Kansas City, one in Chicago, and one in California.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute national sales strategy for foodservice and food manufacturing accounts
  • Align divisional goals with enterprise-wide growth initiatives and product portfolio priorities
  • Build and expand customer relationships with distributors, manufacturers, operators, and chain accounts
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team with clear goals and accountability
  • Drive demand generation strategies informed by customer insights and market intelligence
  • Represent the company at trade shows, executive meetings, and industry events
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, and R&D to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance metrics with a focus on continuous improvement


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Management or Sales/Marketing preferred); MBA strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of foodservice or ingredient sales leadership in a progressive sales organization
  • Proven success leading national sales teams and growing dairy ingredient or food product revenue
  • Strong knowledge of foodservice distribution, market dynamics, and customer segmentation
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, build culture, and develop top-performing talent
  • High proficiency in sales planning, customer engagement, and strategic account management
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Kansas City, St. Louis Park, or Chicago (no remote option)
