HiFyve is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector – CMM Specialist in the Manufacturing industry in Centralia, IL!

Salary: $25 – $30 per hour

Shift: Days, M-F w/OT Available

Location: Centralia, IL

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Develop and follow inspection plans and procedures.
• Use hand tools such as calipers and micrometers for measurement.
• Document and report inspection results accurately.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T standards.
• Maintain organized inspection records.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical training or certification in Quality Assurance or Metrology preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 3–5 years of experience operating and programming CMM equipment
• Proficient in GD&T and blueprint reading
• Skilled with hand measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with Hexagon CMM platform preferred
• Good organizational and communication skills
