This role offers the opportunity to play a highly visible part in shaping and executing an enterprise data governance program. The consultant will work closely with senior leadership while gaining hands-on experience across multiple governance use cases. The position supports onsite collaboration and provides exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and governance challenges within a growing organization.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute enterprise data governance initiatives in partnership with business and technical teams
- Identify and onboard data owners and stewards across functional areas
- Support early governance use cases such as data retention and data classification
- Draft, update, and maintain governance policies, procedures, and standards
- Facilitate workshops and enablement sessions to drive adoption and awareness
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security to align governance practices
- Capture risks, gaps, and opportunities to mature governance capabilities
- Act as a visible representative of governance initiatives across the enterprise
Are You an Experienced Data Governance Professional Ready to Make an Impact?
- 3–7 years of experience in data governance or related consulting roles
- Strong understanding of data governance operating models and execution
- Experience authoring and maintaining governance policies
- Knowledge of data privacy, classification, and handling requirements
- Ability to lead discussions and workshops with senior stakeholders
- Consultant mindset with comfort operating in evolving environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
