HiFyve is hiring a Production Floater in the manufacturing industry in Springfield, MO!

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

Shift: 2nd shift

Location: Springfield, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Move between departments as needed to assist with welding, painting, assembly, and fabrication tasks.
• Work on customized fan and blower projects, following blueprints and specifications to ensure quality standards.
• Use hand and power tools to help build and finish products in a hands-on, non-production-line environment.
• Receive cross-training in various manufacturing areas, gaining skills in welding, assembly, painting, and more.
• Follow safety protocols and company standards to maintain a secure and high-quality workspace.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes; experience in welding, painting, or assembly is a plus but not required.
• Background in sheet metal manufacturing is required.
• Familiarity with welding (MIG welding experience is helpful but not mandatory).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and accurate use of measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Flexibility to cover 1st shift when needed
• Occasional overtime required
