Our client is building one of the most exciting home and travel goods companies in the industry—partnering with Big Box retailers, Off-Price powerhouses, Specialty chains, and some truly iconic accounts that shape how people live, gift, and travel every day.
They attend major trade shows throughout the year and work directly with some of the brightest minds in home, fashion, and retail. Now, they're hiring a Sales & Business Development Assistant based in New York City to join their 5th Avenue showroom team.
This is a hands-on, high-growth role for someone looking to sharpen their skills and make a real impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Build custom pitch decks, line sheets, and sales materials for each customer
- Track quotes, landed costs, margin targets, and timelines
- Coordinate samples, packaging, and product submissions between buyers and factories
- Draft follow-up emails and product narratives that drive decisions
- Help us prep for key trade shows and customer meetings
You’re a Fit If You:
- Have experience in wholesale, retail buying, or product development (home goods or accessories a plus)
- Are organized, resourceful, and excellent at follow-through
- Can juggle product specs, pricing data, sample timelines, and multiple retailer requests.
- Write clearly and think commercially—always with the customer in mind
- Want to grow into a strategic role on a fast-moving team
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Off-Price, Big Box, or Specialty retailers
- Familiarity working with overseas suppliers
- Exposure to seasonal, gifting, or promotional programs
